In the evening of Tuesday 8 October 2019 the library “Dimitrios Fragkopoulos” was inaugurated in the courtyard of the Panagia Isodion Church in Pera, of the Greek Orthodox Community of Stavrodromi.

The inauguration ceremony was celebrated by the Ecumenical Patriarch, in the presence of many members of the Greek-Rum Community. The following experts talked about the library of the late Scholar of the Nation, Dimitrios Fragkopoulos:

• the Scholar Ms Magda Tsokona-Fragkopoulou, teacher at the Zografeio Lyceum
• the Musicologist Mr Miltiadis Pappas, teacher at the Zappeio Lyceum

The event was also addressed by the Chairman of the Greek Orthodox Community of Stavrodromi, Georgios Papaliaris and the Principal of the Zografeio Lyceum, Yiannis Demirtzoglou. A reception followed.
